a Ghanaian living in the UK. We’ve been following him over the years and are particularly impressed with his blend of afro rhythms and Uk funky. Recently he released Nu African Disco vol. 3, filled with great and infectious tunes just like the two previous volumes. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, you’ll for sure recognise the following tune: 419 riddim, which has been played countless times by all the members of the Lowup crew & is what we would refer to as a Lowup classic. a new project by a former band member of belgo-colombian outfit La Chiva Gantiva. Ozferti first self released Addis Aboumbap, a set of reworks/edits/workouts of Ethiopian songs getting quite a big response in the Belgian and global underground scene. This was recently followed by an excellent series of grime and afrobeat mashups This is Afrogrime. This melting pot of infectious beats and grooves paired with a strong graphical universe immediately got us hooked and that’s why we’re very happy he’ll play a life set during our party in the Beurs.

kind of like a general rehearsal for their gig in ADE, Amsterdam on the 22nd of October. This is also the perfect moment to mention the free release of Jabo’s remix of TsarB and the irresistible rework/edit of Rack City Bitch by Gan Gah. Keep an eye on these guys, we haven’t heard the last of them.
